I
Have A Dream
We may never know to what heights
Martin may have risen had he lived. But on that hot day in August of
1963 we got a glimpse of his greatness. His "I have a dream"
speech before thousands of marchers on the grounds of the Lincoln
memorial and televised before the nation has established
Dr. King as one of the great orators of his time and maybe one of the
great leaders of all time.
Been
to the Mountain Top
The last speech of Martin's life
before the sanitation workers in Memphis Tennessee is but one of many
testaments to the great caring and suffering he endured in order to lead
his people to the promised land of freedom and equality.
Knock
at Midnight
Dr. King's most eloquent sermon before
the Mount Zion Baptist Church is one of his most brilliant works. Using
the parable of persistent prayers as a backdrop, Dr. King reminds us all
of the role of the church and our duty as Christians.

The
Meeting
What if Dr. King were to meet
Malcolm X. Award winning playwright
Jeff Stetson wrote this intriguing tale of the two great leaders
coming face to face on issues and philosophical differences.
Seen on PBS, and winner of both the Adulco and NAACP award.
